Today we celebrated the new year by gathering some folks in our grey play group and working on the field. We put up some welded wire fencing on the outside of all the horse fencing to make sure that the neighbors dachshund doesn't wander in and that the greys don't get too adventurous and decide to challenge the rails.
We started working at 11:00 AM and finished up by 2:00 pm. After some chili, coffee and what ever other beverage we preferred it was time to let the dogs, who were waiting in the wings out for some fun.
A good time was had by all and one of many to come. Happy New Year!

I love those photos you got of the dogs! It sounds like an auspicious beginning to 2011 indeed! Mmmm...chili sounds good right now!
Something is not quite right with the group photos. Took me a while to figure it out then it came to me .... where are the black Greyhounds????? Lovely photos and it sure looks like a wonderful place for the Greys to let off steam. Belated Happy New Year to you and Kassa:)
